During three days in January 2025 a research Workshop on Reserve Forces was held at NATO HQ in Brussels. The workshop was hosted by the NATO Science & Technology Organization (STO) and the Human Factors and Medicine (HFM). CSMS was represented at the workshop by professor Joakim Berndtsson (School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg) and here is his presentation: “Society’s Soldiers” The Swedish Home Guard and the ‘New’ Total Defence.
